Our co-founders, Modecai from Malawi and Elizabeth from New Zealand, were inspired to start Khomo as a way to bring together their two cultures and share the unique stories from the warm heart of Africa, Malawi.

The word "Khomo" in the Chewa language can be used to describe the door to your home. At Khomo, we believe that your home is a reflection of your unique identity and personal story.
